She says she's glad she worked up the nerve to try out, because she really enjoys being in the band ... she enjoys everything about it except having a rival band. The camera pans over to reveal their rival band. They are the Misfits! Their songs are better! They are the Misfits! And they're gonna get her! Reference: Care Bears How it could be used: Quagmire turns out to have a drinking problem. When Peter tries helping him, only for it not to work very well, Peter says, "Boy, he's even worse than that one Care Bear." Cut to Loves a Lot, Cheer Bear and Friend Bear having a fun birthday party! But then a Care Bear comes crashing in, throws up on everyone, and face plants into the cake! He's Drunky Bear! Which is hilarious because that's not a normal Care Bear. Reference: Cocoon (the Wilford Brimley movie) How it could be used: I dunno, probably something involving the pedophile character going into a pool, glowing, and floating around before molesting kids. Posts: 322 (07/16/09 1:35 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I turn away when I notice Family Guy doing parodies of celebrities,sitcoms,and imitations of played characters--- except when I don't pick up on some that I know I've heard somewhere Peter did fight his evil-robot twin on a rooftop before. seems like it would be easier to have Family Guy start doing more parodies about Family Guy. ... Family Guy isnt one of those shows that if you miss an episode, you could be lost further on I can only really come up with one (humorous) instance from having watched the show (series?) often Brian's novel others? how about the "H" emphasis... all I can come up with hahaha

Posts: 322 (07/22/09 3:19 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I don't know if there is a Famly Guy in Progress topic, but the episode where Meg gets the internship for Diane Simmons is playing now on A.S. and the show has already referenced Mr. Peabody, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and others that I missed out on.(for example, the men hiding behind the board games) now they're discussing the mass media murderer on the rooftop of Quahog Town Hall im gonna go finish watching this episode good stuff! Posts: 322 (07/23/09 2:59 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	my posts occured shortly after the start of viewing a Family Guy episode. --I slightly misunderstood the title of this post - as it reads "References Family Guy hasn't used yet" sorry ok Reference: Frisbee How it could be used: Characters involved: Brian, Peter, and Brian's next girlfriend cuts to Peter catching Brian playing Frisbee with his new girlfriend and becomes jealous. and the conversation would be something like Brian: aw c'mon Peter, wait Peter: *runs and sobs later on they get into an argumet about the issue and Peter makes a reference of Brian being a "good dog" while Brian, upset, goes and calls James Woods and hands Peter the phone while its ringing. cuts to James Woods playing frisbee with Adam West. but instead of answering the phone, James accidently tries to answer the Frisbee.
