IE8 Sucks |
Lead | |
|
One of the advantages IE always had over Firefox for web developers is that if you viewed the page source of a webpage, it would open in notepad. Since I use
notepad to make all my site's pages, this made updating really easy. Now, of course, with IE8 it has its own window-thing like Firefox does so I can't
use that method to update anymore.

Damn, I just upgraded to 8 because I've been thinking it would rid a delete browsing history problem that I've been having, which it did, but now I too
won't be able to edit my pages so easily. That sucks.
Is there any other browser out there which opens the webpage source in notepad?
Not too hot at games, and not much better at writing reviews!

I just copy and paste the source into notepad.

my anti-spyware seems to stop IE8 from even installing on my PC. saved?!? too bad most of my government's websites only work with IE. masquerading as IE
with Opera doesn't work.
