Not only is it weird enough, but I remember the Colosseum part with Shadow seeming kind of glitchy. Like it still had Chupon's name somewhere instead of
Shadow's or something.

There's a Seinfeld episode where Elaine has a guy from the phone company over, and she muses to herself that she could kill him and no one would ever know.
But come on! He was scheduled to go to her house! Everyone at his work would know that! If her house was the last house on his schedule that he went to, of course they would investigate her! Had to get that off my chest. |

Hideo Kojima is a big fan
of Twilight.
And the male readerbase increases by 57 million as all the Metal Gear fanboys follow their Great Sensei.

I just noticed something:
Beast-Aarbron suffers from the same disorder as old-school Nucleo, which gives him deltoids half the size of his head while the rest of his arm remains a twig. Must be some side-effect of Dark magic mutating humans. |

I was going to say that it's the opposite of what Popeye had, but I see that FO already made that joke in Nucleo's scrapbook.

Huh, I was in Barnes and Noble today and saw the Akira manga is being reprinted. Vol.1 is out now, with Vol.2 coming out early 2010 and the other four to
follow. Guess this means if I ever feel like reading it I don't have to shell out +$300 for the set.
If my current state of interest remains the same by the time all the books are out, I'd probably only get Vol. 6 to see if there's any explanation as to what the hell was going on in the movie's ending.

If I had to guess, I'd say they're doing that in preparation of the new live-action Akira. Which I have no idea why they are making.

My first reaction to seeing "live-action Akira" was "wuuut". Then I remembered that live-action Dragonball Z movie.

They're also making live-action Ghost in the Shell, live-action Cowboy Bebop, and live-action Neon Genesis Evangelion. Because Speed Racer and Dragonball
did so well.

From the Wikipedia article on Braid:
Blow has stated that there is more than just one interpretation of the story. He has also said that he "would not be capable" of explaining the whole story of the game, and stated that the central idea is "something big and subtle and resists being looked at directly."So, basically, the creator of the game doesn't know what the fuck his so called "art" actually means. |

I think he meant "It would be too complicated for me to explain to your meager minds," but that brings to mind how the best test to see if a person
truly understands something is for them to be able to explain it to somebody else and make sense.

It really reminds me of that Calvin and Hobbes strip you posted over in the PAP thread.

In other retarded gaming news, Assassin's Creed 2 has the fucking stupidest ads I've seen for a video game (though I'll admit I haven't seen
many game ads.)
Try to watch any video that meets your fancy, and you'll usually get one at the beginning of the video. If you don't want to bother, the ads all consist of the camera starting right in the face of one of five or so bug-eyed guys, then slowly zooming out while a bell tolls. |

The ad doesn't even have the title. If you hadn't told me, I wouldn't know what game it was for. Also, one guy reminds me uncomfortably of Glenn
Beck.

I didn't realize this because I didn't bother with the Dimensional Vortex dungeon in the Chrono Trigger DS remake, but it apparently confirms that
Dalton caused the fall of Guardia. In Chrono Cross, Porre has replaced Guardia as the prominent world power, and a FMV in the Playstation remake showed Guardia
being invaded. You fight Dalton in the bonus dungeon, and when you beat him, he says "Just you wait! I'll raise the greatest army the world has ever
seen in Porre, and use it to wipe your pitiful little kingdom off the map!" It leaves a lot of unanswered questions, but it's kinda neat to have that
confirmed.
