2. A cat or kitten that is really playful and wouldn't mind playing with Mel and/or Hermes.
The only problem is that this is the line of thinking that led me to adopting Hermes, and they still haven't learned to play together.
The other day, Crawl was in the bathroom downstairs and Pepper had to use the litterbox. He had the door closed, but not quite all the way shut. She put her little paw on the door and pushed it open enough for her to go in. It was so cute.
Pepper hadn't woken up crying in the night for a very long time, but she finally did again last night. I think sleeping with us curbed that, but last night I couldn't get her to come to bed. She wanted to sleep on the printer, and she woke me up with the crying, that's where I found her.
I wonder if she has different reasons for crying out like that. It kind of seemed like she might have been having a flashback to when her back was injured, because she started off with a high-pitched scream (like she was hurt by something), and then proceeded with the lower caterwauling.
