Dude, I need a new naming system pronto.
Dragon Warrior II- Reached level 7. I have the Copper Sword, Chain Mail Armor, and Leather Shield. I had the shield for ages before I remembered to equip it.
It took a few levels to be able to reach Leftwyne safely. I then made that my base, but I would walk back to Midenhall to save whenever I leveled up. I started venturing out a little further and ran into Cannock, which became the new base and had the advantage of having a king who could save the game for me.
I found out where the prince (Artho in this instance) is generally headed... a spring to the east. I walked over that way earlier, and saw a cave, so I'm going to gamble that that's where I'm supposed to go. There was something over to the west, as well, but I don't see any real reason to go that way just yet. I'm probably going to start referencing a walkthrough to determine where to go next, but I'll try to hold off as long as I can.
I ended up with a couple of lottery tickets after buying herbs, but inventory space is incredibly precious right now. Here, herbs DO take up one spot each. And you've got antidote herbs to buy, too, maybe even Wyvern Wings, not to mention your equipment. So I sold the lottery tickets for 53 gold each. Hope that was wise.
