Sadly, I don't think I've gone trick or treating since I was 18, at the oldest.

Nowadays I can just buy my own candy. I don't have to spend money on a costume, and I don't get any gum or disgusting peanut butter taffy blobs.

Maybe we should all get together and go as the cast of Goodfellas.

Are you serious, Troy? I think most people at this board are too old for trick or treating. I haven't been to a good Halloween party in a few years,
either.

I don't know what age I was when I last went trick or treating, but I only remember three things about it:
1. I wasn't actually planning to go, but my younger cousin came to visit, so I took her around the neighborhood. 2. I had no costume since I hadn't planned on going. I think my mother may have tried to make a big deal out of that, but somehow I ended up going anyway. 3. Later that night, after we came back, there was a huge yellow slug on my porch, about a foot long. |

I took my younger cousins out tonight and I went dressed as a MIB agent. In retrospect I would have done something else because wearing sunglasses at night
sucks. BTW one went as the Hulk and the other Batman.

world.

I had some peer pressure to dress up at work, but I couldn't think of anything creative, and wasn't in the mood to, anyway. I'm busy there on
Fridays and didn't want to deal with it. We ordered pizza and had some candy last night, though.

You've gotta be careful about that. Sometimes when you're new to a job, people will try to get you to dress up on Halloween. When I first got hired to
work at Canon, everybody in my department said they were going to come to work on Halloween in a "pajama party" theme. I agreed to do it, but the
next day, I realized it would be too difficult to drive to work with feet pajamas, so I just went in normal clothes and hoped no one would get mad. It turned
out that NOBODY came dressed in pajamas and no one mentioned a word about it. I later became suspicious that they tried pulling a prank on me when I heard that
it's a common thing they'll do to "the new guy" in a workplace.

When I was in highschool, there was a teacher who on Halloween would always dress in a full Star Trek fleet uniform.

It turned out that there were several people that dressed up and several that hadn't. Of course, dressed up in this case might refer to Phillies shirts and
hats. It's amazing how Philly-sports obsessed South Jersey is. I just don't feel it.

Do you at all remember a Saturday Morning children's show based on the Phillies Phanatic? I do, but it might have been slightly before your time as I was
quite young when it was on.
