I dragged BW down with me to the Haunted Trail the other week. Was a total blast. And, that certainly wasn't for little kids. Heck. Half the fun is getting to meet ladies to hook up with during the event. It does help make the four hours in line go by far quicker. Last time, I had a lady under each arm. This time, the escort figure was three.

So, it starts off with me and BW in line for tickets that we already had. (Stupid place gave no signs as to what line to get into...) Pull out the cel-phone and Duel Screen to pass the time. An hour later, we're still standing around. Low and behold, one of the ladiess behind me gets an eyefull of my butt (Because she liked my tail) and introduces herself and her friends. DS goes on pause and we chat some time away. About eleven minutes later, I introduce them to BW (who is oblivious to all this, as he's staring at a 2" screen, trying to play a Tetris-type game) and the zaniness of the evening moves on. Oh, the energy. Their outgoing attitudes were the perfect match for a couple shy, "Don't let the world in" reserved pair of guys like us. Eventually, we find the 'real' line and proceed another three hours until it's seconds away from midnight.

The trail, itself, ran about 20+ minutes. Some of the actors didn't care about the no touching rule. They were poised to grab. Just a fun night, in general.

The age difference kicks in like a harpoon, once they give their ages at being 17 and 16. Had I ever lost my virginity, any one of them could have been my daughter. Talk about a real 90210 moment. "Hi. I'm one of those fourty year olds that can pass for eighteen and attending high school..." One of the ladies pondered why I wore a watch. Said it was for work needs. But...when did the generation gap go from watch to communication device with the time??? And, what exactly is a MySpace and a Face...something or other?
