For everyone else: Yeah, it occured to me the other day that we might not actually be registered to vote as a consequence of our move. I checked online over the weekend (I don't remember the site) and neither FO nor I came up at our current address. (I should have checked if we were still registered at our old address, but it didn't occur to me at the time).
It is actually possible to vote early in Ohio, and I think we could have registered and voted in person today. I don't think I'll change my mind about the Presidental election, but it might be nice to be informed about other issues. There's a law being proposed to allow a casino in Ohio, and there's also some thing about interest rates on payday loans (which is something like 400% APR!!) (Obama is proposing a nationwide lower rate if he becomes president).
It's also possible to get absentee ballots if we think we'd have any trouble voting on election day.
