I was (and still am) considering a Resident Evil purchase, but in the meantime purchased The Conduit for Wii. I got it from Gamestop, the only proper game
store within 50 miles.

Resident Evil 4 doesn't have much in the line of puzzles to figure out. I first played it on the PS2...with a controller. -later on I pretty much swapped
the game for Hitman and Super Mario Strikers.
--the guy never came back to work I liked RE4 enough that I picked it up for the Wii. -Now...the Wii that I have was a gift..and when I go to visit my mom on occasions.. I take it with me just recently - my mother came across enough money to put a 48(?) some inch flatscreen in her living room...and the last time I went around (July shutdown) I took the unopened RE4 to try. playing the game the first time on PS2 was hard enough I would either play to the point where I would figure out the 'right path' - and go over it again. Or I would die miserably and retry. this time - I could plug in the gamecube controller if things get too out of hand anyways off of ebay Kodak - 800 speed film - 14 rolls at 24 exposures each roll for $20.45 with free shipping expiration on film is stated to be 12/11 Earthbound for SNES -just the cartridge bought it now for 69.99 with free first class shipping included * the fourth most expensive game I have bought yet the complete game with instruction book and box are up close to $200- $60.00-just the box at that price those scratch and sniff stickers included in the manual better still be fresh |

I hate to spend money that we really don't have, but I'm going to buy a woman's suit for doing interviews. Most of my work clothes are
business-casual, which is okay (for most places) when you're actually working, but you should probably try to make a better impression on interviews. Also,
all of my clothes are at least a couple of years old and although I'm not sure exactly how, you can just tell when clothes are new. (When I got my job at
the glass company, I bought a new outfit for doing interviews around that time. It probably helped. But it's a year old now, and the skirt is starting to
show it.)

The grass in our front yard -- really, just the little patch between the sidewalk and the street -- was getting overgrown. It had that tall grass with the
seed stalks on top. I figured we could put off buying a lawn mower, especially since summer is almost over.
I had figured that kids would ask to mow your lawn for money, but my mother said the era of that is over. Okay, that might be reasonable. But then she followed up by saying that I should go up to kids in the neighborhood and ask them. Uh... I don't think there was ever an era when that would be normal. Anyway, I got a weed eater and a lawn extension cord. The patch of grass there was so small that a weed eater was enough to take care of it, and in just a few minutes. It looks a lot better now. Even when we get a mower, it'll still be good that we have the weed eater for particular work. I might even use it more soon. |

I bought Dissidia yesterday at Target because they gave you a $10 gift card with it. And I had about $6 in gift cards from when they were giving them out when
you bought Xbox Arcade points. And then I turned right around and used that $10 on groceries and some PSP Dynasty Warriors game they had on clearance for $10.

For buying the house, we got a $25 gift certificate for an Ohio local general store and a $50 gift certificate for Petco. Today we used both up.
With the general store card we got a folding card table and a rake (which I desperately need to clean up the front yard). With the Petco card we got a microfiber pet bed, a cardboard cat scratcher that can stand up vertically for Lady to use (she likes to paw at verical surfaces), and a self-propelled toy ball that runs on batteries. The cardboard cat scratcher came with a bag of catnip and before I even opened the package, Mel got on the floor next to it and started rolling around. We had a hard time finding the folding tables at the general store. They had a kind that featured an Ohio football team logo, but it was $50 and too big. I thought they must have normal folding tables without the football logos, but we looked everywhere and couldn't find them. On the second round through the store, I coincidentally noticed a woman walk by with on in her cart and I asked a store clerk where they were. |

Secret of Money Island: Special Edition. Steam has it at 50% off... $5.00... for this weekend.
Also got Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal for free. It's the first episode of the episodic series of games by Telltale. This deal is only good for a couple more hours tonight, so grab it right away if interested. http://www.telltalegames.com/playlikeapirate This is all because it's Talk Like a Pirate Day or something.

I bought some cheap used games yesterday.
Legend of Starfy for DS- I've never played a Starfy game, honestly. The reason I used him for my site is because I like the cute, simple design of the character. Luminous Arc 2- A sequel to a game of which I know nothing. A tactical RPG with an all-female cast, so it's probably girly or perverted, but hey, comes with soundtrack! Gitaroo Man LIVES! for PSP- Never played the original. For all I know, they could all suck. At least they were cheap. |

Going back to the tables, if we wanted to eat breakfast in the sunroom or something, we probably would need a bistro table. I tried setting up the card table
there one day, and it technically did fit, but it filled the whole thing.
We haven't eaten on the balcony yet, either. But we probably won't be able to eat outside many more times anyway. |

I bought a bucket. Hooray!
I've needed a cleaning bucket for years, but I've either always forgotten to get one or was too cheap to buy one at the time. But this time, I really needed to get one because I had no way of washing out the litterboxes. I had to take one of our old uncovered litterboxes and set it up in the basement for Lady. Lady has peed three times and pooped once on the basement floor. Either she's down there and for whatever reason, can't make it upstairs in time, or the other cats are gathered in the sun room and she doesn't want to go around them. Putting the litterbox in the basement seemed to clear that problem up, although Mel so far uses it more than Lady does. |

I recently bought volume 8 of the manga Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning and volume 21 (yeesh!) of The Wallflower.
Spiral is getting quite interesting...And Wallflower makes me want to either 1) bash the two main characters heads together 2) bash the creator, Tomoko Hayakawa's head against the wall or 3) bash my head against the wall. Not because it was a bad volume mind you...but something...rather frustrating happened. I'd call this one step foward and five steps back. :P I also found out that the manga is still on-going. I though for sure it ended at voulme 23. And why do I keep reading...because I'm a sucker. :P "You ate the wall?? Are you insane?"-Trill, Baten Kaitos |

We set up the dehumidifier about 3 to 4 hours ago, and I just checked on it. It already had about 2 to 4 cups of water in it.
After the furnace is replaced, we may just have it run continuously and have it empty directly into a drain. FO wanted to run the dehumidifier to see if it'd help with drying the clothes we had downstairs. It sure seemed to. After just one night of running,
almost all of the clothing is dry. I was working to get the clothes off the line, and my throat got kind of dry just in that time. Soon we'll have to get
one of those all purpose meters that includes a humidity meter, so we'll know how hard we need the dehumidifier to run; it doesn't seem like we'd
need it to run full out continuously.

Got some Wii points so I can buy Final Fantasy and get a few other things online. I'm still debating which games I want other than that.
