That cat will probably grow up with no aggression toward that bird at all, but it would still be all too easy to kill or injure it during a play session.

For the record, if I ever did get a cat, I wouldn't let it play with my birds like that. Even if a cat is declawed, they can still bite, and I know enough
about cats to know that they often playfully bite things when they're playing with them, even if they don't intentionally mean to hurt it. My birds
aren't really that friendly with me (I just don't have time to train all of them and they tend to be harder to train if you have more than one), so
there's no way they'd be that friendly with a cat.

Maybe, but I'm very lazy about updating that section, so it's nice that someone's taken some pressure off
of me. That, and I really prefer to only do cartoon/videogame-related ones. I know I have some that bend or break the rules, but I don't like to make it a
habit.

Regarding the VGCats strip, I totally agree about the legendary Pokémon. Mewtwo was a great legendary Pokémon.
This is a bad sculpture project from the 4th grade. Another reason the legendary Pokémon have deteriorated is because the storyline always overplays them. Nowadays they're like Poké-deities, in charge of the great forces of land and water and heavens, and the well-being of the whole planet hinges around defeating or capturing them. When your 10-year-old hero easily clears these challenges, it just feels like all this drama is unearned. |
