However, when I did so, I discovered that despite not having the feature available, some people somehow added search tags to their posts anyway. I can only assume some kind of Yuku glitch was exploited for this - which I'm none too happy about. Especially since most of the people who did it were one-time or new posters who used the tags to advertise their own site. Any newcomer who uses a search tag to advertise their site on this forum will not only have their tags deleted, but may also be subject to banishment. Abuse of the search tags function will result in search tag deletion and possible warning/banishment. The TOS will soon be updated to include this new rule. Also, anyone caught exploiting glitches on this forum for any purpose other than to demonstrate and report the glitch will be subject to banishment. I may sound hypocritical for this one considering my past history with ezboard glitches, but #1, I actually did report the worst ones and #2, it's not 1999 anymore. "There's a worse room than this?! So, maybe they didn't do anything before you turned them on, but you could enter them anyway, and without a glitch.

I had to mimic the setting to all forums before the box opened up that allowed me to put them in the other forums. Also, try starting a topic at Sweetbee's board - I see no place to put in search tags. I just don't appreciate people like that terrible FFIV reviewer abusing the system to promote their own blog. If you just turned it on yesterday, we definitely had the option before then. It was (is) something that was easy to overlook, though (like the Cancel post button). I don't know why Sweetbee doesn't have it; maybe because our board is paid for.

Yesterday I activated Search Tags in this forum (for some reason, it's a forum-specific thing, not a boardwide feature), and I went to the Reviews forum and started a new post. I noticed there was no place to put in the search tags, so I went back into the admin panel and mimicked the main forum settings to all other forums. I tried again to make a new post in the Reviews forum and that time the box was there. "There's a worse room than this?! How?! Is it on fire?"

Even though you can collapse the tags block, it's still going to be annoying when it fills up with too many. That means I'd either have to delete some after awhile...which might negate their usefulness. "There's a worse room than this?! How?! Is it on fire?"

I was just a little upset to see that many "spam" tags had been put all over the board. Even if the feature doesn't turn out to be very useful, I might just leave it turned on so I can make sure people don't do that in the future. "There's a worse room than this?! How?! Is it on fire?"
