A lot of techno sounds unmusical to me.

Okay, this is like the one I mentioned earlier, but a little different.
Some people play music that has a lot of bass, then they turn up the bass and volume so fucking loud that no stereo system on earth could play it without distorting. (Of course, they're doing this on some shitty car stereo anyway) So, then, instead of getting BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM you get BRRRMpptapBRRMpfftBBBMMfffppBORMRMfaff

The type of music I loathe is dance with vocals (usually female) which have been put through a pitch-shifter, or similar, in an attempt make the singing sound
"cute". Yuk.

I've heard a lot of people complain about that, but I'm not sure what examples there are of it.
Except Cher's "Believe" which most people that make that complaint seem to give a pass for being the first (?) (famous?) example of it. |

In the most Seinfeldian moment of my life, I broke up with a girl who wouldn't stop singing TV commercial jingles.

its kindof funny to think about how the staple of notorious music is known as having -a guitar, a bass, drums, maybe some added percussion, and microphones. any repetition of sound, rythem, or melody can be considered music ...technically.
I have trouble with finding the pleasure in listening to most music for a few reasons. how distracting it is-
