I'm still trying to watch the original trilogy. Is it really THAT good? I fell asleep like 15 minutes into Raiders of the Lost Ark. The medicine and the
fact I was tired as hell didn't help, granted, but still, the prospect of watching all 3 of these movies before this weekend is quite intimidating.

They're all terrible, and falling asleep only 15 minutes in is both common and reasonable. Who can be expected to have enough patience to wait a full 15
minutes for a movie to get going? Especially when those first fifteen minutes only has an adventure in a South American temple, booby trapped with gaping
pits, lethal spikes, arrows, and a huge rolling boulder. Snooze.

instead of traveling farther due to high gas prices.

I watched Raiders up to the part where they're transporting it by truck and I don't have anything bad to say, I haven't really been too wowed by
it. Maybe it's a case of too-high expectations. The first 15 minutes was probably the most interesting part, actually. I was expecting more exploration of
dangerous ruins like that as opposed to all the Nazi fighting.

Yes, and your original post that said you fell asleep during one of movies' most exciting introductions, with no mention at all of what was boring, was
extremely helpful in understanding your opinion.

Split for a pointless digression (and sorry to others' posts who were split along with it; yuku doesn't let you pick and choose)
I'm still trying to watch the original trilogy. Is it really THAT good? I fell asleep like 15 minutes into Raiders of the Lost Ark. The medicine and the fact I was tired as hell didn't help, granted, but still, the prospect of watching all 3 of these movies before this weekend is quite intimidating. If you think you are not implying any opinions with those words, you need to learn to communicate better. And if you are claiming you cannot stay awake because you're sick or something, not because you were bored within 15 minutes, and then seriously asking if you should watch three movies in that state, why wouldn't the answer be, "No"?

I fell asleep during Lawrence of Arabia because I tried to watch it when I was plumb tired from working all week. The result was that I got nothing out of it
besides Alec Guinness walking around and saying something about being an Arab and some good music.
So my suggestion is to watch them when you're feeling better.
