The FDA is claiming these are safe but I don't know...it still kind of weirds me out to eat cloned animals and plants that have had their DNA altered.

seriously. i doubt the mutant genes will turn you into a ninja turtle or a superrat.
i've tasted modified lettuce, it's just kinda more bland than regular lettuce, and said to be pesticide-free.

If you think too much about the dangers and potential dangers of food, you'll probably be too scared to eat anything, ever. So I guess I don't care too
much if something's been modified. If I had a choice, I would buy the natural thing for about the same price, but if the choice was eliminated, I'd
still buy the food.

Why, Tweeter? Oh, I don't know. Just seems like something out of freaky sci-fi to me, like a disaster waiting to happen. If natural food was entirely
eliminated we really would have no choice, but we'd also have no choice if all the government chose to feed us was Soylent Green, or those food pills like
on that episode of Garfield & Friends where he wakes up in the future.

but you're ok with farmers using pesticide which could severvely(sp?) alter the health of your veggies, the poultry who may feed from the same pesticide
polluted land?
and anyways, plants/animals evolve. i don't think their DNA stays the same all the time, unless they're cockroaches, sloths, and simple bacteria. you wanna eat cockroaches, sloths and bacteria?!?!
