Well, the title makes you wonder what it could be, but you're still not prepared for it.

That's about the worst thing I've read today.

The closest brush I had with jury duty was much less eventful.

Just a week before I was supposed to report for jury duty, jury selection began for a trial for a teenager who shot and killed a plain-clothes cop (whom the kid nevertheless supposedly knew was a cop). I think if my summons would have been then, I would have at least been expected to show up, even if I wouldn't be selected. I was thinking at the time that being on that jury would at least have been an interesting experience, but I don't know. It must be much more intense when you're really there and it really counts.
