I beat Easy without much trouble. I've made it to at least level 33 of medium, which is much harder, so far.

Thanks for the link. Yeah these flash games are addictive as heck. I actually play these online games more than real games these days.

Beat medium!
When you level up the weakest towers to their highest level, their range increases to almost the entire screen. Plus, they give you money bonuses when they kill enemies. Facility Pro was right: The flying enemies were the only ones that got through. Even so, only two flying bosses (that I barely damaged at all) and 5 normal ones got through. The weak towers got the rest. Maybe next time, or on hard, I should build at least a couple of anti-air towers. Believe it or not, I made it close to half-way through medium without building a "maze". I just made a cross of 4 weak towers tall, 5 wide, with one more in the middle, and leveled those few up. Then I read the 'help' section, said, "Oh, that's what you're supposed to do", and immediately made it several more levels. |

I don't have the patience to learn this game, but clicking the Send Next Level button a whole bunch of times really quickly is pretty funny.

Although seriously, I've made it to level 50 of Medium twice, and lost. |

This was my set-up for easy:
That is why even medium is much harder. Oddly, those rapid-fire towers don't seem as useful on the other difficulties.

http://www.towerdefence.net/ That place has many more of that type of game.
The Fast turret is really good in desktop, but you have to use a pellet maze and juggle for the hard difficulty, due to how much HP the enemies near the end of hard get. The flying enemies are the worst, though and you're only hope with them is to use the snap towers to stun them. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Juggler358 no shortage of stuff on youtube.

I did beat the 3000 gold fixed maze challenge. And after you figure that out, you can hit "send next wave" over and over to beat it in just a couple
of minutes.

It's funny that 3K Gold is "Challenge" while 10K gold is "fun", while it seems to me that 10K gold is much harder.
I had some insomnia tonight (I think Italian food can give me indigestion), and I played a round of this game. My idea was to define the maze before starting, so I'd only need to power up during the game. (Deleting and replacing is too time consuming). I divided the screen in half, and would open and close either half with a pellet tower to "juggle" (like I guess what HiRider meant) enemies near the end of the game back and forth. I've gotten much better at that.
I also had the vast majority of the maze be anti-air towers, since I thought flying enemies would be the most difficult thing. I made it to level 91, and the ONLY enemies that got through were flying ones. One thing I see is that only the most powerful Bash towers were really doing anything to damage ground enemies at the end of the game. I could have had fewer of those to put more money into fighting aircraft. But even the most powerful anti-air towers do almost nothing at that point. Maybe more frost towers could have helped, too. I don't know if I *needed* the strong pellet guns in the corners, either. I kind of liked the idea of being able to at least somewhat damage enemies away from the powered up bash towers, but they might not have really had much effect.

Huh, made the 3K scoreboard without first realizing it:
Here's the basic idea I had been using for that one:
The idea is to corral the ground enemies onto the bash tower, and have two air defenses. On that round, I only missed the two Spawn bosses. |

I got to Level 45 on medium last night. The only problem is that when you lose, you have to start all over again and wait so long to try a new strategy and see if it will work. |

If this was a home game, a nice feature would be to be able to save the level you made it to*, then start over with as much gold as you would have had at that
point. That would make getting to where you were a lot easier, and the game a little "friendlier".
*-<Pedantic> Of course, just making it to a level shouldn't be enough, because you can hit "next" over and over and make it to any level at all. How about, a level for which you've killed all the enemies, and still have perfect health? You could even have some (10%, maybe) money taken away to account for things like juggling or whatever.

I beat Hard mode! I basically used the same strategy and maze I tried for the 10K challenge. At first, it's much harder, since you have to start with a
pellet maze, build it while you're being attacked, and upgrade. But since it only goes to level 60, it ends up easier. I think the only things that got
through were airborne enemies, and spawns that were randomly knocked out of the maze.
A little further to go. All but won:

I *kind of* beat Survivor mode, without too much trouble. "Kind of" because, right when I was on the cusp of victory, the durn fool thing crashed
on me! (It might have been Firefox, not just the game program)

Legitimately beat Survivor, with no deaths:
Beat Spawn, which was again a case of the "fun" game being harder than the "challenge" one. I lost a few while building the maze (but none after that). Spawn also had bosses.
And I made it to level 98 of 10K! What mostly killed me where the flying enemies that moved horizontal. I obviously can't make a big stripe of anti-air things horizontally like I did vertically (there'd be no more room for the maze), but maybe I could put a few extra ones in that horizontal region. It's weird -- it looks like I was wasteful with my money in that game (why did I power up the squirt cannons? Why did I powerup the pellet guns at the top? Why use a squirt cannon maze instead of a pellet gun maze? Why did I need three bash towers at the top?). But I fully powered up every boost tower and anti-air tower, and I for some reason wasn't able to do that in later attempts. Maybe the two bash towers on the sides weren't powered up very much (I can't tell with them being overlapped by enemies there).

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
-Albert Einstein I tried a LOT of variations on that two path design and it wasn't getting me anywhere, so I was trying to come up with something different. The problem with the two path design is that eventually you have enemies against both exits, and as soon as you delete one and block the other, an enemy is right about to escape from the one you just unblocked. Then you just delete and block, delete and block as fast as you can, and eventually the enemies leak out. So, I tried a three path design. It works pretty well as far as juggling land enemies. As you can see in that picture, I'm about to unblock the middle path, and there are currently no enemies in it about to escape. It is a little stressful, though, to keep up on all the deleting/blocking. When you have three paths, you can set one to delete, wait a bit, then set another to delete before the first one has finished. It's very effective and negates the effect of finite deleting time, but it keeps you really busy. You can see I got past level 91 there, but the flying enemies are still the major pain, and with the so much of the screen going towards paths, it's tougher to have a region to take care of the planes.
