I ended up getting ActRaiser with my remaining Wii Points. Quite impressive, but I blazed through it up to the boss battle. It seems like the only Enix games
I've played of notable length are Robotrek and Illusion of Gaia.

Holy crap, I just bought some stuff from our store's website and I feel like I ripped them off.
They had a deal where you spend 30, you get a 5 dollar discount and free shipping. So I spent 30 and it got reduced to 25 with that offer. Then I got my employee discount of 6.00 bringing it to 19.00. I thought that might disqualify me from the $30.00 part, but I guess it's calculated pre-employee discount. Then I used my quarterly reward coupon (2% of total quarterly spending) which was worth $10.00 bringing me down to 9.00 total with free shipping for all of it. There's even a huge, heavy bag of catfood in there. |

I got some cool stuff for free. My mother cleaned out my old room and found some things of mine I thought I might have lost forever. I already recovered my
NES Advantage, a Jazz CD I got from a course and which had a really cool avant garde piano piece that I hadn't been able to identify, and even another book
on guitar building (though I seem to remember not liking that one much).

I hit Gamer's Annonymous today.
The guy who owned the place sold it to a couple friends of his, and I'm impressed with how they've shaped up the place. They have some paintings of sprites of various game characters on the walls, like Mega Man running and Donkey Kong beating his chest. Last time I was in there, they mentioned how they were planning to do Little Mac slugging Bald Bull, and they had that up today, as well as a Super Metroid Samus. Their selection is also more impressive. I picked up Ninja Gaiden 3, Felix the Cat, Deja Vu, Adventure Island 2, and Tiny Toon Adventures all for the NES, and Zone of the Enders 2 which I already have, but I didn't have a manual and it was cheap and what the hell, I want to support these guys. |

Yeah, I've seen it too. The commercial quotes a review saying it's dark like a war game should be. Then it cuts to the silly looking characters
