Take an arguement about Super Mario World. One person says the game is less than the Second Coming because the level designs are boring and you can fly over most of them.
"That's just your opinion!"
Or Paper Mario's music. It sounds like conduction exercises done with broken instruments.
"That's just your opinion!"
And not to sound like this only applies to bad games, I'll take Symphony of the Night's graphics. They're detailed, colorful, mostly realistic, and the enemies are well animated (I know this is vague, but my point stands).
"That's just your opinion!"
Generally, if this is the only way I ever the same statement being refuted, I start thinking what's being said about the game is not an opinion, but the truth.
But can anything in a game be "truth"?
