You can see them in the background of this picture. Sorry, it's the only picture I could find: Both are red, have similar proportions, giant mouths, and both are dog-like. You can't see it in the picture (if you can even make out anything in that picture...) but the dog enemies from Spyro even have "devil" tails. Just take away the Ultimate Chimera's wings and the bird on its head, and you've got one of those giant red dogs! I live on the internet.

Richter Abend from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. They're hair colors aren't exact (though Richter's hair is a darker red in-game), but other than that, the resemblance is interesting.
