If Honen could figure out what was going on, why couldn't Nucleo? He's already aware that they're stuck in a time paradox of sorts from his encounter with Thawhidol. Also, the '95 Honen is holed up in the Megallon right now. If he attacked Nucleo in the Megallon, Nuc would either (A) realize what was going on or (B) speculate that it might not really be Honen piloting it. It would be a pointless scene either way.
