Radiant Silvergun (Saturn) - not worth the $150 I spent by any means. It's fun, but terribly overrated and overpriced.
Lunar 2 (Sega CD) - again, it's okay, but the $60 I paid for it was as much as I paid for the superior Playstation release.
Macross M3 (Dreamcast) - Import pricing at its best, I let my enthusiasm for the franchise convince me to blow $70 on a mediocre game.
Killer 7 (GameCube) - I paid $40 for a brand new copy I still haven't opened on a whim, and I almost never buy brand new games. Tax return spending.
Arc the Lad Collection (Playstation) - $70 for another game I've barely even played given how poorly it aged. I
was too ready to spend on Working Designs products at the time.
Kengo (PS2) - Paid full price ($60) at its launch because I wanted something to play on my PS2 and I liked Bushido Blade.
Vay (Sega CD) - $40 was too much.
Sengoku 2 (Neo Geo) - I like this game, but $120 was steep given its quality, even for Neo Geo. By contrast, I don't at all regret the $150 for Sengoku 3. I'd say it'dve been worth about $80 to me.
Kabuki Quantum Fighter (NES) - I spent my birthday money (I rarely got money for my birthday, but that year I did) on this for $30 at Wal-Mart as a kid, and even though it was beatable and okay, it definitely wasn't worth it considering what else was out that I passed on.
