More Wikipedia fun: I have no idea what is going on in that second sentence. So, Velma stopped losing her glasses because an actress retired? Wha..? And "over from" seems really awkward when just saying, "but in the animated movie" would do. Also, regarding that first line, I haven't seen the show in ages, but I'm guessing there was some series of pratfalls that unintentionally landed them in that situation, but it's kind of making it sound like Velma purposefully took her glasses off so she couldn't see and drove Scooby and Shaggy around in a bumper car to scare the shit out of them. |

They still need a citation tag. Anything that's not common knowledge needs a citation tag. And if I could have seen dozens or even a hundred Scooby Doo
episodes without knowing that, it definitely ain't common knowledge.
And if it wasn't until a Pup Named Scooby Doo, there could even be questions of canon. |
