(i feel more like getting into one of the discworld books(maybe that one about "round world") for "light-reading", and harry potter just seems too damned "light" for my taste.) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I enjoyed the first three Harry Potter movies, but the third one wasn't quite as good as the first two, and I might be feeling a bit bored with the concept already. Thus, I'm not really looking forward to the fourth movie as much as I was the third. We'll probably still see it eventually though...if not in theaters, we'll rent it sometime. www.flyingomelette.com

I'm really sort of tired of the whole thing right now. I probably won't continue reading until book 7 is out. I'll try to watch the movie when it's out on DVD. I think it's getting to the point where the books are long enough that, unless the respective movie cuts out a good amount of the details, it'll be a 4 hours movie. Of course, it doesn't help when you include things like a 5-minute long, drawn out scene of Harry approaching and riding Buckbeak, making it less likely for shorter (but more informative) scenes to included.

My kids are pretty much the only reason I've seen them, as I'm not into reading the books.
