I have broadband and all, but loading a video is still a lot more hassle than simply viewing a text article. In particular with Firefox, CNN gives me a warning that it can't tell whether or not I have Windows Media Player installed, and I have to click "continue to video anyway" in order to actually see stuff.
And cnn.com seems to be headed more and more in the direction of video lately. In addition to almost every story having a video option, which is fine I guess, four of the stories on the front page can only be viewed as a video clip. I have a feeling that the trend is going to continue over the next couple of years. CNN has always been my main site for news (I also check Google News to get general headlines from all over), so this bugs me.
