I had to read this book in junior high. It's the story of a spoiled brat who can't appreciate her jewish heritage, so she's sent back in time (or maybe is bonked on the head) and lives in a concentration camp during World War 2. This book may have been written particularly for junior high aged people, which would explain why, rather than appearing horrific, the concentration camp appears merely boring. I can't remember many details about the book because it was just so forgettable. Granted, I read it many years ago, but I do remember thinking even at the time that it was lame.

). It was a while ago, like in elementary school, and I've never read a book that bad since.

It's much of the same thing. Except it advocates absolute individualism instead. I read it for an essay contest hosted by the Ayn Rand foundation. Didn't even get close to winning
