Getting Twilight Princess for the Gamecube was sort of difficult. I went to at least 4 stores before I found it. When I asked at Toys R Us if they had Twilight Princess (their newer games were behind a counter), the guy asked me if it was "a Barbie game". After being momentarily dumbfounded, I made the Princess / Barbie connection, but still, WTF? How can a young guy whose job is working at the videogame counter (specifically; I didn't ask a random worker elsewhere in the store) not be aware of the new Zelda title, especially since they DID have copies of it for the Wii.

That package was my copy of Microsoft Office, so I can once again make my laptop usable.

It came on 4 CDs (or DVDs?) with no instructions. It seemed like the first one had everything I needed. The others must be upgrades, I guess, but I don't know if I'll bother with them or not.



Now that that's taken care of, maybe I'll get a USB controller for my laptop, so the other one can stay with FO's computer.

I was thinking of this one. But if I did get it on Amazon, that might add shipping costs. I wouldn't mind getting another one like we already have (which is even cheaper), but I don't know if it's available anymore.

I think the store we got it from is out of them (perhaps to never restock?) ("think" rather than "know" because that store must have moved or relocated, so I'm not sure it's even the same store)

They did have this monstronsity. For all I know, it might actually have a use, for first person shooters or something, but there's no way I'd use that for normal console style games.

Score. I was thinking (not very seriously, since it's expensive and I don't really need it) of buying this book, since I thought his quantum mechanics book (which I already had) was better written than average.

But a retiring professor gave it away, so I got it for free (2nd edition, though)
