I was just watching the Fox lineup, as I not so often do, and noticed a commercial for a new show set to premiere in January that really caught my interest.
The premise is that 20 beautiful women spend an extended period of time vying for the proposal of a multi-millionaire. Sounds like a rip-off, huh? The twist here is that Fox lied to the women - the man makes $19,000 a year.
So what do you think? Is it unscrupulous of Fox to lie, or is it novel in that they will (probably) prove the point that beauty queen women are typically money grubbing gold-chasers in the conclusion?
I must admit I'm interested. The Bachelor was hard to stomach but the underlying theme in this show makes me want to see it.
