They would be the ending songs for Elemental Master. I don't think you'd like the actual game any more than you liked Axelay (it too is a fairly easy shooter, but it doesn't have "auto center"), and I'm also not sure what anyone would think of the music without having beaten the game. Also, these are names I gave them - I don't know what their official ones are, nor where to look.
Part 1 - Roki's Death

Part 2 - Healing Wounds
A more upbeat song with a "got the job done" feeling. I like this one more, although the part from 2:23 to 2:49 sounds a little out of place.
By the way, a couple of really shitty lyric songs to throw at people who say There Must Be A Soul is the "worst vocal song in a game ever":
