I've played this for a while, and it's pretty fun for the most part. There is some stuff I don't like about it, though.
The Arcade Mode is a lot of fun... pick a fighter, play through eight battles, including a boss, and get a character-specific ending. You also unlock the character's profile and voice clips to check out anytime.
Weapon Master mode isn't so great, though. It involves playing through a story, buying weapons, and fighting battles. There are also dungeons with several battles in each.
The battles usually have annoying requirements for winning though, like you can only beat your opponent with a ring-out, you start at 1/4 health, or only a certain type of attack does damage. It's just not as fun to me to have restrictions like those. And dungeons are tedious... basically, they involve fighting repetitive battles against regular looking guys until you stumble across the boss room.
The good thing about this mode is the weapon collecting. There's a whole lot for each character, and you can use the weapons in arcade mode, in something called Extra Arcade Mode (something like that).
The game has great graphics, really stunning at times, and some good music. Plenty of difficulty settings on Arcade Mode so everyone can enjoy it. Weapon Master mode has an unchangeable, steadily increasing difficulty.
