A few nights ago, I had a dream where I went on a date with the guy who runs Ctrl+Alt+Del. He gave me a t-shirt with kittens on it. O_o

Last night I had this dream that I moved back to Philadelphia, but for some reason, everybody I know, including my employers, were there. And I had to work the same job because for some reason my whole company was there, only the building was much smaller.

Some times I think the only thing worse than having retarded dreams like the ones I mentioned in my previous posts are having dreams that really mess with your mind because they're too realistic. Last night I had a dream that someone sent me an email to the Q&A, and there was nothing unusual about the dream that would give it away as being impossible (like, for example, my parents being in the dream, or I start flying, or I'm inexplicably back in NJ, or something like that). And the question certainly was something that could've been legit. So, I woke up this morning, and I had to think for a moment if I dreamt that or if I really did receive such an email. I checked my inbox, but there's only one email in there that I haven't responded to yet and it's not the same as the one in the dream (I actually got that one several days ago).
But then just a few moments ago, Crawl and I were coming home from our shopping adventures and I had momentarily forgotten that the second email was only in a dream and here I'm trying to think of a way to respond to it. I had to think for a moment and remind myself it was only a dream. |

Neato. I didn't look like Auron perpetually frozen into that pose from my avatar, did I? Or mybe I looked like some nerd who almost fell asleep playing FF4 in the middle of the night. But nah, that's just crazy!

No kidding. For one thing, don't we live on opposite ends of the country? Second, Tech doesn't allow males and females to room together.
As for what you looked like, you looked like an aged version of a guy I knew back in Elementary. Even though I've seen your picture, you looked nothing like it. Shit, speaking of innaccurate dreams, I woke up some time during the night after the roomate dream, went back to sleep, and dreamed Ahnuld was speaking with an English, non-Austrian accent. |

Very true, but I was referring to the nerd part as the crazy thing. I mean, I'm obviously the coolest guy around because I do all the things cool guys do. I play RPG's, I swear off all sports, I read sci-fi, am addicted to the internet... what else can a person do to prove how cool and not geeky he is?
But on a serious note about dreams, I don't have so many fun ones anymore. A lot of them are what I'd call super unrealistic dreams about how things could have gone with my dad. Sometimes I have dreams about work, too, but they aren't interesting in the slightest. |

I had a dream that I ordered a pizza and then I couldn't remember if I ordered it or not. So I ended up ordering another one by mistake. But somehow, one guy showed up with three pizzas, even though I only ordered two.
I have no idea what that was about and I don't want to know, so please don't tell me that I need mental help or something. |

I had a dream that I had to go back to highschool for some reason. I think I needed another English credit for something.
A couple of weeks ago, I had a dream that I had to do walk across some of the country on foot, but eventually came to a place where gigantic earth shaping equipment was. One machine had many bumps sticking out of it, each the size of a house, which it used to smash the ground perfectly flat. Somehow I had to sneak past all of those things. I had a dream that I was back in highschool, too. It was the first dream like that I've had in several years. In the dream, the teachers I had were really rude and I kept being really rude right back to them until one finally threatened that I'd fail the course if I didn't shape up. I can't remember much else about the dream except that it was really foggy for some reason. It was almost like how on sitcoms when they show a dream sequence, they do it by having wavy lines circle the middle of the screen with everything outside the circle being blurry.

In my back to highschool dream, I still had facial hair, making me the only person in class with it. I also clearly looked 10 years older than everyone else. I think I was still technically in graduate school, except for the highschool classes, so I was myself as I am now. The highschool didn't look anything like the one I went to, though. It was all dark and mahogany. I think I may have grabbed the look from my brother's class rooms (I went to his parent/teacher meetings in place of his mother), though in my dream everything was much classier.
I think it's possible I went back to highschool in another dream, but in that one the school looked more like my real highschool, but more high tech. "Perhaps one did not want to be loved so much as to be understood." -Orwell |

I never have any good or interesting dreams. The only kind I ever remember are the ones that aggravate me like when I dream I'm late for work or that I have a school project due when I don't.

I had a weird dream last night.
I dreamt that I was in Media Play and the store was closing for the night. I kept picking out all these anime DVDs and for some reason, I took them all to a room upstairs and slept there overnight. Also, for no explained reason, everything I had previously bought at both Media Play stores was in that room, too. The next morning when the store reopened, I wanted to pay for the things I picked out, but I had gotten them mixed up with the stuff I'd already bought and couldn't remember which ones I hadn't yet paid for. Then I think my alarm went off. It's weird because I went through the anime stuff again today at Media Play, and I still didn't see anything I'd really want.

I had another weird dream last night. It was like a combination of Harry Potter and the Muppets. I dreamt there was this weird building that had all the old muppets from the Muppet Show stored in the basement. Someone went down into the basement, and they all started to coming to life (on their own!) and they wanted to make a new Muppet Show. This one would take place in the building they were stored in which turned out to be, like in Harry Potter, a magic school. At one point in the dream, the muppets were all seated around a long rectangular table in a room like the one in the Harry Potter movies where they get their mail and also where Dumbledore gives his speeches (except in the dream, this room only had one table, instead of one for each school house.) And also like in Harry Potter, an evil wizard (like Voldemort) was supposed to come to the school, but this wizard had the ability to change his form to look like someone else. They figured out that he had already infiltrated the school because he had destroyed a cannon that was sitting outside on the lawn. They were trying to figure out which Muppet was really the evil wizard when the dream ended.
Maybe I've just been watching too many muppet things lately, although I haven't seen anything Harry Potter-related since the last movie.

I had a dream that I found a book and was reading it, but it was confusing because (looking back now) I often wasn't sure whether I (in the dream) was really myself, or the main character in the book.
I remember thinking that the book was kind of tripe. Anyway, it starts out with a group of children friends. One boy is such friends with a girl that he thinks they have some psychic connection (such as what's mythically between twins). He likes to hide under some metal furnature, and while he's there he sometimes overhears conversations. When they're older, the boy and another male friend somehow cross paths with some gang, and they have to flee for their lives. So, it becomes a road story. While they were hiding out, they moved in with a poor family. I think they were eventually kidnapped, perhaps by the original gang. Finally, they're able to return home. The boy seems to think that after their divergent life experiences, he no longer has much connection to the girl. Later in the dream, I was in my grandmother's old house, and I ate a chocolate chip cookie, and it tasted bad. "Perhaps one did not want to be loved so much as to be understood." -Orwell |

I have never eaten anything in a dream that tasted good. In fact, I hate having dreams about eating because I'll always wake up with nausea.

Last night I had a dream that FO took me out to shop for videogames. I don't remember the dream in any great detail, but I don't think it had any unrealistic elements. It was just as though we spent a little extra time together when we were asleep.

I had a dream last night that FO and I were moving into a house in the country. However, FO had an family heirloom set of keys, which were grabbed by a bunny that ran off with them. Because it was a dream, though, the bunny actually looked like a koala bear head that was about as big as a person. Anyway, FO chased the bunny into the field, while I approached it on its blind side, and when FO caught up to it, I grabbed the keys. Then the bunny started crying, so I gave it a ring of my own keys, which I wasn't using any more.

The other night I had a dream about Achewood, but I'm hard-pressed to be able to describe it. The only times I've ever actually read the comic is when Crawl has left a browser open on one. But I dreamt that a bunch of Achewood characters were in a room talking about something, but I don't know what. All I know is that at the end of the dream, somehow one of the characters (and I don't know which one) turned into Miss Piggy.

I had a dream that FO discovered (or hypothesized) that there were more stages in Super Mario World, and I eventually reached them on my own.
However, the graphics style looked nothing like SMW (it looked more like how a "2D" game would be done now on the PS2, with polygons (eg, R-Type Final). And the stages, instead of just being a series of obstacles, seemed to rely more on gimmicks. One stage in particular had avalanche flows periodically moving across the screen.
