nightmares where it's the day of the final exam and I never went to class all semester.
I've had those often. They're usually set in my high school. Probably the two clearest ones in my memory involved religion and physics classes. (I went to a catholic high school, and we had religion classes every year. However, I never took a physics course in my life.)
They were both similar. It was the last day in class (or close to it), and I'd all of a sudden remember I was supposed to be in that class all year. I'd be looking for the room, and feel embarrased and nervous as I entered. The religion class one wasn't really bad, but the physics one was. The teacher was just going on about laws and formulas and I was like "Oh shit." Then I realize everyone in the room is Crawl and 1000 (j/k).
More frequently, I have dreams about forgetting to do a homework assignment. When these dreams happen, it's usually in English or math.
I often have really surreal dreams that freak me out. One such dream stands out. When I was about 10, I had this dream where this embankment in my friend's backyard was a giant, golden fountain, and many of my friends were lying motionless all over it. Like Adam in Michelangelo's paiting. This transitioned into me being in our dining room, and looking at the same fountain image that was being projected onto a screen though our slide projector. I went up to the projector and looked into the lens and saw the Virgin Mary. A little Mexican boy was looking up at her and said "Oh mamacita."
I awoke feeling very scared. The dream's stayed with me with perfect clarity ever since.
