So my mouse hasn't been working quite right. The clicking would seem to be really unreliable and I'd get a lot of false double clicks. So I ordered a replacement online. But then today the mouse seemed to register the scroll wheel as always rolling, which made the PC almost unusable because everything kept scrolling to the top of the page. I got a good deal at Radio Shack, but I don't think I can return the one I bought online when it gets here. Anyway, that's my exciting life.

The Radio Shack mouse is already not working right. The scroll wheel is all jittery now. I probably use the scroll wheel more than most, but come on. I doubt that I have the receipt and I know I don't have the box, so I guess I'll just keep that as an emergency mouse. I pity the future me that might have to use a mouse without a proper scroll wheel, though. That poor guy. Damn.

So far the replacement is fine. It's identical to the first one that broke last month, so I know I'll probably only get 6 months or so out of it. My options are limited and prices are high because I have to get wireless mice. Otherwise my cat will eat the cord faster than the mouse will naturally wear out.

I just ate at Wendy's for the first time. Ever.

Not until recently.

There's always been a McDonald's closer than anything else, and if we wanted slightly better tasting fast food, we'd drive the extra little ways to Burger King. At some point in the past couple years, they built a Wendy's that's just about a half a mile further away from the BK. Curiosity never really won out, though.

But Wendy's had some new items on the 99 cent menu, so I decided to check it out. We got Crispy Chicken and Double Stacks.

It was pretty decent. Like nearly every food there is, it was better than McDonald's. And while the flame broiled taste of the burgers can be good sometimes, I've kind of grown tired of BK over the years.

There's an awesome burger place (I guess Northeast US exclusive?) called Five Guys Burgers and Fries, which I would probably eat every day if not for the fact that I would be dead in weeks, and that it's pretty expensive.

It's been a fairly lame vacation week. Started out okay, but around late Wednesday I started experiencing some major sinus issues that have been coming and going all week. Also around that day we started getting a series of coastal storms that put half the island underwater and closed one of the two main bridges out. Yeah, not unlike this pleasant day in 2008. Except for like three straight days now. I mean I don't exactly go out that much, but this was pretty annoying.
