That "citation needed" thing in wikipedia is awesome.

On the one hand, you'll see it pop up where no citation could suffice (in matters of opinion).

On the other hand, you'll see it when a citation is absolutely unnecessary, because the thing being mentioned contains this information.

Example, from Wikipedia's page on the short story "That Feeling, You Can Only Say What It Is in French":

As the story progresses, she begins to remember skeletons from the closet, starting as financially strapped newlyweds who went onto greater things with her husband's eventual success in the computer industry. It is implied, though never explicity revealed, that the man and woman are suffering eternal torment as a result of having an abortion when they were younger.[citation needed]



How do we know this? The damn story says it! If that doesn't count as a source, then what the fuck would?
