I use 800 x 600. I don't know how high these monitors go, but it's higher than 800 x 600, and I had to set them lower manually myself. Perhaps I could enlarge the font size in a browser, but everything else would be small. And maybe I could enlarge things in other programs as well as browsers... Forget it. And some things, like images, would always be small. I don't have perfect eye sight; I don't like things small. I don't want to use a resolution below 800 x 600.

Regarding your reviews, Aussie, for what it's worth, I can't tell they were intended for resolution above 800 x 600. I still think they can be hard to read because the backgrounds are so busy. I could use Lynx... but viewed on that browser, your ALT tag captions run on with the text.
