I don't mind multiple endings in RPG's too much, as long as there's a way to see them all on the same playthrough. Chrono Trigger is an exception, of course.

FFX-2 annoyed me because you had to do some really illogical stuff to see the good ending. Like pressing X at a particular time, for no reason and with no prompt, in order to to trigger an event. And if you forgot to do one of those things, or missed them altogether, there was no way to achieve that ending during your current playthrough.

Its ending structure was setup pretty well, though. You always view the standard ending unless you lose to the final boss. If you get the good ending, it's added onto the end of the standard ending. And if you get the perfect ending with 100% game completion, it comes on last.
