Didn't expect to buy any games yesterday, but I had to go to the mall, and I just couldn't keep myself away from Software Etc. I picked up Hagane and Pocky and Rocky 2. I've been kinda/sorta looking for both.

I read about Hagane in an old Gamefan magazine. I thought it looked cool and may have flown under the radar, and my first impression is that it did. It's made by Red, which is a big company amongst shooters. It's an action game with a cyber-ninja, at it's base it plays kind of like Ninja Gaiden, but then you have a lot of special moves, and it's very hard. I can't figure out how to get past one point so I'm going to look around and see if I can find the instruction manual for it online. Might turn out to be good. The overall theme of the game is similar to MUSHA.

Pocky and Rocky 2 looks like it'll be a lot of fun. Definately gonna play some more of both of these, but I'll hold off for now because I don't want them to distract me from playing the games I was working on before.
