I'm sorry if I seem a bit argumentative on this subject, but I don't feel that Season 3, nor the movie for that matter, deal with death very well at all. The movie only saw the characters who died as unimportant and expendable. Prowl being killed by one shot from a Constructicon's gun is as bad as the Incredible Hulk being killed by falling off a helicopter. Galvatron's line, "It's a shame you Autobots die so easily...etc.", is one of the most inappropriate lines in movie history, because anyone who watched the TV show knows that NO Transformer "dies easily". It's not just that a lot of my favorite characters were killed off, but it's how it was handled. (And that dead Wheeljack was drawn so creepily that I would not have wanted to see a live Wheeljack drawn that way, let alone a dead one.)

Compare that to the death of Dinobot in Beast Wars. I admit that the quality of the show went down after he was gone. He was one of the best characters. But at least his death was handled with a lot of dignity, and that episode is one of my favorites from Beast Wars.

Tracks: Are you pondering what I'm pondering, Raoul?
Raoul: I think so, Tracks...but what if Blaster won't wear the nylons?
