So...take a vacation, FO. Because, what it sounds like is the little problems of the net are just being compiled by the bigger problems of your job. And, this is not a good thing at all. After all, to cut yourself off from the net is to cut yourself off from a source of leisure to concentrate on a lifetime of work. (And, so much work is so meaningless in the long run...) Work that sounds like it is making you miserable. Yea...just don't cut yourself off from the net. Just let it go loose. Feel like coming back, if only to say hi? Do so. But, don't let the net turn into work. At least, until you feel that you are once again ready.

I have web sites out there that haven't changed much in years. Doesn't bother me one bit. (The spam mail, on the other hand...)

Oh, and if you're going to invest in Beast Wars DVD's, avoid starting out with the first season. Most everything (which isn't much) that was ever set in motion for the long run can be figured out in later seasons. Season one is mostly about learning who is who, setting a couple minor details (how they got here/where they would up at/why they need transformation abilities/who can shoot at who each week) and that little detail about the aliens. It's season two where anything of real importance starts to happen. And, each season from there just gets better and better. (Bar, a few "native" intros.) Although, it is crummy when there are these plot strings that they push hard to develop, then just let hang until oblivion. Beware the twin tear jerker episodes and that one anti-action episode. (The one that's all about the bad, third party faction who is looking for a home. It had nothing but poor drama and produced a lot of loose ends...only one of which was even tied together in a barely notable way....a few episodes later...and finally tied a strange end up.) Trust me. If this one episode was never seen, you wouldn't miss it. They only threw in a brief fire fight at the end to make it qualify as action.
