I played through R-Type III again this morning.

Then, early this evening, I played a couple of hours of Conker's Bad Fur day. (I've played for almost 7 hours total so far). It was just sitting out, so I thought, what the hey. Anyway, tonight I

-Climbed the bat tower (however, I skipped the money at the top)
-Got all the cogs for the gear and trapped the shark
-Got the Catfish's money from their vault
-Got the money from the bee hive (as well as lots of other money)
-Enter the barn and beat Frankie the pitchfork
-Got all the bees for the sunflower
-Beat the terminator boss.
-Got the dinosaur baby...
-...and smashed the dinosaur baby.
-Maybe some other stuff

I don't know. This game doesn't seem very compelling. It just feels like a game you waste some time with, and you progress, but it doesn't really challenge you very much.

And some parts are very irritating. You have to get some bees, then make them follow you to a sunflower. That's not too big a deal; they follow you fairly quickly. However, there's another part where you need to get a dinosaur to follow you, and it moves so freakin' slow!. I had to keep stopping, waiting for it to catch up, and then go back for it since I had moved out of the range of where it'd follow you (which isn't much). Honestly, I might have found that part more irritating than sailing in Wind Waker.

The only part of the game that seemed close to challenging so far was when you had to swim past some big blades that can cut you in half. Even there, the biggest issue seemed to be the problem with knowing how close you were to the blades in 3d space.
I LOOOOOOVE Flying Omelette!!
