You mean the button mashing? I was assuming that it wouldn't work on the other settings and that more strategy would be involved. Is that how it worked out for you?

In the Simpsons game, I'm up to either mission 4 or 5 in level 2. I'm a little stuck again, but this game is challenging for all the wrong reasons. This mission involves collecting items along the road within a time limit, then racing another location within a different time limit, outrunning another car by putting a certain amount of distance between you within, you guessed it, a certain time limit. And finally, and this may be a surprise, you have return to the original locaiton with a time limit. The tasks themselves aren't what's hard, its actually figuring out how to get to the different destinations. There are usually green arrows on the road pointing out where to go. But sometimes they aren't available if you're too far off the main route. And once you lose them, there's almost no way to get back on track. Messing up any one part of the above sequence means doing the entire thing again.

Another problem I had with the racing Smithers mission earlier on was the way the game handles traffic. There are certain shortcuts that you almost have to take, but due to the random nature of the other cars moving around, you're route could suddenly be blocked by a bus driving by. And there's very little tolerance for mistakes, so you have to keep restarting and restarting until things finally go your way.
