Man, this is one glitchy game. I restarted from the beginning, but the second boss didn't drop the powerup that lets you change into the wizard. Without it, there's no way to pass the eyeballs on Level 4. I had to purposefully use up all of my continues and start again. This time, I get to the end boss, but I can't beat him because I don't have the maximum experience level. For some reason, even if you use up all of your continues and start the game from the beginning again, as long as you don't reset or turn the game off, you continue with the experience level you last had. So, I get pretty far into the game without losing a single life, and then for no reason whatsover, my knight falls right through a solid floor!! He did this earlier, but I was able to jump my way out of it, but this time I lost a continue because of that! When I review this game, if I complain that my knight sometimes falls through solid floors for no reason, I better not get any emails telling me that doesn't happen, like I did when I mentioned that my character in Hydlide sometimes keeled over for no apparent reason.

Anyway, even though I lost two continues on that stage, I still made it to the final boss. And I beat him on my second try.

I've now officially beaten Sword Master without using the continue code. I just hope that using it didn't "ruin" the game for me. The problem is that without it, I couldn't really practice Level 4 too much, and I was getting tired of having to redo Levels 1-3 every time, because once your experience level is as high as it goes, those first three levels become rather pointless.
