I played both more of Perfect Dark and Goldeneye today. Mostly Perfect Dark.

I looked over Gamespot's review of this game again. Actually, I mostly just skimmed it, as it pretty much seemed a feature run down, until the point where he wrote, "Is the game fun?" The reviewer said that if the game has any problem, it's that the Agent difficulty setting is too easy... but then hastened to add that the higher difficulty levels were better. Often, when you complain about a game being too easy you get the ridiculous reply, "Well, you're supposed to play on the highest difficulty without using items, and after injecting novocane into your hands". However, since this remark was made in a review, not as a reply to anything, it may have more credibility.

Anyway...
I've beaten about the first dozen of the combat simulator challenges. So far, they've been pretty boring and easy. I'm sure they'll eventually pick up, but the whole idea of waiting forever for a game to pick up is for the birds.

As for the solo mission, I made it to what I believe is the final boss of the game. What was giving me problems the last time I played was simply that I had trouble noticing a door that in the side of a long, dark hallway. I'm not sure how to damage the boss, though (It's shielded). The mission briefing seems to have a clue for that, but I must be misinterpreting it, or something, because I haven't gotten anything to work.

Part of me is getting tempted to hook the PS2 back up to my television so I can work a bit more on hard mode of Devil May Cry (which I thought of before I read this thread). We'll see.
I LOOOOOOVE Flying Omelette!!
