I may have made it to the final stage of Perfect Dark last night. (I guess I wouldn't know until I beat it, but considering the cut scenes leading up to it, it'd make sense as the final stage) I wasn't really looking forward to playing more of it tonight, though. Once again, it's a stage that seems mostly based on figuring out where you need to go and what you need to do. Only this time, part of "where you need to go" involves finding ladders built into rock walls, and these ladders are virtually invisible. Plus, I'm not exactly on the edge of my seat to see how this game's story concludes. The story is just goofy stuff about aliens.

So, I pulled out Goldeneye and played more of that. I played through Bunker 2 quite a few times tonight. First, on 00 Agent, I had beaten Statue... but skipped Bunker 2 to do that. So, I went back for it tonight. I think I had an easier time tonight than I did when I tried Secret Agent last time. I was able to kill off the enemies quicker, better stop them from regenerating, and also kill them quietly enough that I rarely alarmed guards from other hall ways. Still, I did die a bit tonight. It just so turns out that the file I'm replaying the game on Secret Agent with was also up to Bunker 2, so I beat that stage again on that difficulty. I also screwed around in that stage with cheats after that. I think I'll have to earn the agent cheat in that stage on my replay file, so I'll play that stage a little more tonight (but, hey, it's a fun stage in a great game; I won't mind replaying it). I also screwed around a bit replaying some other stages (just for the heck of it in my original file). If I can pull myself away from Goldeneye tonight, I may try Perfect Dark again... but, like I said, I'm not particularly excited about it.
