I played some Wild 9 last night. I originally got past the first stage and lost all but my last life (and didn't win a continue), so I restarted. I got past the second level this time. I didn't think much of the first level (I got 98 gears! One short! I can see a ledge with two on it, but I can't find a way to get to it. I tried swinging onto it with that grappling ball that's off to the left of it at least ten time, but all in vain), but I found the second level a lot of fun. That screen effect when you get caught in an explosion is really cool. And I don't know why, but I found that comment B'Angus made about "shooting out these annoying little green shmucks" rather funny. But I really started laughing out loud when I accidently moved Wex into a flamethrower and he started comically running out of control (well, I could control what direction he moved in. Not much else) with hands on his now on fire butt.

I found the area where you had to drop enemies into the spike pits and step on them interesting and disgusting at the same time.

I then popped in Dragon Warrior VII for the first time since I got it. I got to the scene after I met with the king for the first time, wandered around for a while, and after failing to find not only the prince but also an area to save, I just turned it off. I did like how there were kitties all over the place.
