I beat Sword Master, but I had to use an unlimited continues code to do it. I do see that the game could be beatable without it. My only concern would be that certain bosses have a bit of a randomness to them (and this includes the final boss.) Normally, using a specific tactic against them takes them out fairly easily, but there will be that 1 in maybe 4 times when that enemy will give you a really hard time and you can't do much about it. Your normal tactic won't work as well, there's not much else you can do, and the enemy will succeed in draining a fair chunk off your life meter before you can kill it. The final boss of ActRaiser 2 was very much like the final boss of this game.

Oh, and this game's ending really sucked. The beginning shows a bunch of anime-style cutscenes, so I expected something similar in the ending. But all I got was a migraine-inducing flashing scene of the final castle as the credits rolled over it.

Still, I don't want to pass final judgment on this game until I've given myself a fair chance to master it without the continue code...
