WOW. Thanks for the notice. I haven't read any complaints ANYWHERE about this, and it's not like I haven't been reading about Metroid: Zero Mission (both GI and EGM gave it enthusiastic reviews, I believe penny-arcade praised it, and I recall reading praising posts at at least 3 other message boards).

To be fair, the hard mode was a somewhat more satisfying experience, but no matter how you cut it, Zero Mission's far too short.

On said hard mode playthrough, which was only the second time I had played through the game, I was able to beat it with a time of 1:35:00 easily, not counting all the deaths. That was with an 95 percent item collection rate, too (I got 100 with the same save file after wards, and still came in just under the two hour limit). I've yet to get a time that good in Super Metroid after ten years, and the most items I've collected with a notable time record was 65 percent.

It's an alright game, I guess, but there's no excuse for it's length. I wouldn't recommend buying it unless it was considerably cheap.
