Well, I had some success with the troublesome mission in Klingon Academy. I stand by what I said about it being poorly designed, but I was doing something wrong too. You're supposed to go into a special targetting menu to lock onto specific planetary targets. Was still more trouble than necessary, but I finished the mission.

I played several more missions, some good and some bad. A few challening fights here and there, and a fun simulated battle where you fight the Excelsior with Sulu in command (as in Star Trek VI)

In the last one I tried, Mission 11, I think I encountered a glitch. You're supposed to destroy an extremely powerful battlestation with only a few small ships. The game hints that you're supposed to do this in a long complicated way. But I decided to attack it head on... and I won. Either from the difficulty setting not being high, or the battlestation not being implemented well in the game. But it said I hadn't completed another part of the mission (that I certainly had), and there was nothing I could do but start over.
