My interest in gaming is lower now than it's been in quite a while. But I did decide to play through SMB yet again, as I had some time to pass.

Once again, I played fast and somewhat carelessly. But this time, I didn't lose a life until stage 7-3. I'm usually very good at that one, but I timed a jump wrong and that's all it takes.
And it's still not as good as when I reached stage 8-2 without losing, but that was when I was playing slowly and carefully... which isn't as much fun.

I found myself getting a lot more coins than usual this time. I don't often bother with them, but at the end of the game I had around 14 extra lives instead of 6 or 7 because of it.

One stage had a bonus area I had forgotten about. It's underwater, and there are moving platforms trying to force you downward if you aren't careful. Reminded me of some stuff that SMB2j implemented more fully.

And there's really not much else to say. I had some fun playing, but it got a little boring without a goal in mind.
