I finally beat Wild 9 two or three hours ago.

Minor Spoilers, but I'm not taking chances. Highlight to read.

I don't know why the back of the case says Karn's face is the size of New York... he's big, but only three or four stories tall (and half of it is face). The biggest video game boss I've seen so far is the Plutonium Kaiser from Blasting Again (Roddy is an ant compared to him, but what really scares me in the Kaiser was supposed to originally look like a human O_o), although Karn is a helluva lot funner to beat up than the Kaiser.

It's an interesting fight. Wex (I'd still like to know what was going through Shiny's head when they named that guy) is automatically running at the screen, when Karn shows up and starts running behind him with Boomer in his left (his left, your right) hand. He has four attacks; an eye laser, shooting those little green men like grenades, trying to stomp Wex, and trying to pick him up. When he tries to pick up Wex (and only when he tries to pick up Wex; can't pick him up when he tries to stomp Wex) you have to fire the Rig so it picks up Karn, and it is rather amusing to see little bitty Wex holding great big Karn over his head, and then WHAM WHAM WHAM him as many times as you can before the Rig runs out of juice and has to recharge. The Kaiser... I read somewhere you can easily beat him by turning on the Thunder and flying up to his head.

The ending sucked, but maybe that's because I beat it on Easy. The Earthworm Jim Special Edition gave you a crappy ending if you beat it on Easy. Maybe I'll get something extra if I beat it on Normal.

Fun Cat Fact of the Moment:

A burglar was once tracked down because he decided to make off with the family's Abyssinian cat. Had he left the incredibly rare cat, he probably would have gotten away scott free.
