I finished Threads of Fate on Rue's path today. On the final stretch of the game, you have to fight three bosses in a row. Thankfully I had stocked up on Bronze Coins, so I was able to pull it off.

The final boss really irritated me. You can't hit him until he finishes this attack where he shoots about ten little blue balls at you, and he's always changing shape. Each of these blue balls does about 10 damage each, and I only had about 200 HP. So, yeah, I was irritated. I didn't realize you could press the Square button to make Rue defend (reducing the damage of the little blue balls to 2), because in the rest of the game it just made him do a horizontal slash. After I figured that out, he was a joke.

The ending actually surprised me several times. Rue thinks all he got was Claire's body, and I'm sitting here thinking "So he didn't get Claire back" but then he goes "Oh wait! She's breathing! She's alive!". Then the roof caves in, and I think "So they both die." And even Rue thought that. Then Psycho Master pops in and teleports them away.

It's a decent game, but not one I'd highly reccomend to anybody. If you're like me and was unaware of the Braces until the Ghost Temple, it's not a pleasant experience. It's got some good music, but it's a bit easy, and I doubt anything changes if you go the other person's path. I don't think I'm going to play through Mint's path.

Why is this game rated E when everbody's saying "hell" and "damn" and calling each other bastards left and right?

Fun Cat Fact of the Moment:

When a Ragdoll cat is picked up, it goes completely limp, hence its name.
